TOUR TO THE CITY OF LAMAS

Visit to Lamas, the folkloric capital of the Amazon, a town of colours, customs and ancestral traditions. Located at 814 meters and only 25 min. from Tarapoto. We visited its main square, often visited the museum Chanka and lamista diversity, to better understand the foundation, customs, myths and legends of Lamas the Amazon.

In addition, we visit the imposing castle of Lamas with its medieval style of construction that makes us go back in time and place. We finished our visit in the native Kechwa Wayku community to know their lifestyle and if the opportunity allows us to interact with them.

The pick-up time from your hotel will be arranged in advance.

15:30 Departure to the city of the three floors, Lamas.

16:00 Visit the parade ground.

16:20 Visit the Chanka Museum and lamista diversity.

16:50 Visit to Lamas Castle.

17:20 Visit to Kechwa native community Wayku.

18:00 Return to Tarapoto.

FULL DAY TO BLUE LAGOON

At 50 km from Tarapoto, the Blue Lagoon has become the most visited attraction of Tarapoto. Ideal to go with family or friends, it does not require much effort its beaches make you feel in paradise, the waters are temperate, you can rest and relax, swim or practice some adventure sport additional to the tour.

• 9:00 Departure to Laguna Azul.
• 11:00Visita al fundo a orillas de la laguna.
• 11:30 Boat ride through the Blue Lagoon.
• 13:30 A la carte tourist tour.
• 14:00 Free time,
• 16:00 Departure to the city of Tarapoto.

 DAY 3.

TOUR TO THE AHUASHIYACU FALLS

14 km from the city of Tarapoto, Ahuashiyacu is the most visited waterfall. Hike of 15min for a road made of stones for the tourist transit. This in the regional protected area Cordillera Escalera, where there are giant trees, butterflies, birds and crystal clear waters, ideal for a refreshing swim. Tarapoto is known for these waterfalls, close and easily accessible, ideal for family with children and seniors Previously will be coordinated pick up time from your hotel.

• 10:30 We begin the journey to Ahuashiyacu Falls.
• 10:55 On the tour we will visit the viewpoint. (Photos)
• 11:00 Hike of 15 min. approx. to reach the falls.

• 13:00. Return to Tarapoto.
