No authorization is needed from the GDRFA (an external website opens in a new tab) or the ICA (an external website opens in a new tab) for tourists travelling to the UAE.
With immediate effect, citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, namely Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, will be able to enter Dubai using their national identity card.
Requirements for all passengers arriving in Dubai
As of February 26, 2022, passengers traveling to Dubai from any country (including those of the GCC) must meet one of the following requirements:
Present a valid vaccination certificate or certificates indicating that the passenger is fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved by the WHO or the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and that includes a QR code system
Present a valid certificate of a VOCID-19 PCR test with negative result issued within 48 hours of sampling and departure time; the certificate must be issued by an authorized health service provider and include a QR code.
Present a valid medical certificate issued by the relevant authorities certifying that the passenger has passed COVID-19 within one month between the date of recovery and the date of arrival.
