Departure from the city of origin by international flight to Madrid. Night on board.
Day 2 (Sun – 14 May) MADRID
Arrival in the capital of Spain. Assistance at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 3 (Mon – 15 May) MADRID: AVILA AND SEGOVIA
Breakfast. Visit in private.
Visit two emblematic medieval Spanish cities, Ávila and Segovia. See the medieval walls of Ávila and discover the history behind many of its most important places. Our first stop of the day will be in the city of Ávila, one of the best preserved fortifications in Spain. Follow your guide on a walking tour of the old town to discover the stunning history of this city. See Romanesque-style churches, Gothic palaces and a fortified medieval cathedral. Visit the Walls of Ávila and imagine the stories that have lived over the centuries. Marvel at the fortification and towers, which have given the city the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. at the appointed time to continue the tour to Segovia. Lunch. Take advantage of this time and contemplate the most important Roman civil construction of the Peninsula, the Aqueduct of Segovia. Walk through the old Jewish quarter of the city following your guide to the Alcazar of Segovia. Enjoy a guided tour of the site and marvel at this spectacular fortification. Return to Madrid. Accommodation.
Day 4 (Mar – 16 Mayo) MADRID
Breakfast. In the morning panoramic visit of the city, touring its main places, the Plaza de España, Gran Vía, Fuente de la Cibeles, Puerta de Alcalá, Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, Plaza Monumental de las Ventas, Puerta del Sol. In the afternoon, visit Toledo, former imperial capital, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Accommodation.
6th day (Mie – 17 May) MADRID – GUADALUPE – LISBON
Breakfast. Departure from Madrid by luxury bus, to enter Extremadura. Arrival in Guadalupe, with its impressive Monastery, built in honor of the Virgin of Guadalupe, one of the most valuable jewels that are preserved in Spain. Free time for your visit and continuation to Portugal. Arrival in Lisbon. Accommodation.
Day 7 (Thu – 18 May) LISBON
Breakfast. In the morning panoramic visit, visiting the Marques de Pombal Square, Jeronimos Monastery, Belem Tower, Monument to the Discoveries, etc.
In the afternoon visit the cities of Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. Return to the hotel.
Evening dinner and Fados show. Accommodation.
8th day (Fri – 19 May) LISBON – ALJUSTREL – FATIMA
Breakfast. Departure to the North of Portugal. In route visit of Aljustrel, small town where the three shepherds Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco were born and lived. Continuation to Fatima, one of the most important pilgrimage centers. Visit the Basilica and free afternoon that can be dedicated to religious events. Dinner at the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 9.º (Sat – 20 May) FATIMA – PORTO – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Breakfast and departure to Porto. Arrival and tour of the city ending in one of its important wineries. Visit the interior of the winery with tasting of several of its best wines. Continue the journey, to enter Spain again. You will cross the impressive Rande bridge, over the Ria de Vigo, to reach Santiago de Compostela, a city frequented by millions of pilgrims who come every Holy Year to win their jubilee. Dinner at the hotel. Accommodation.
10th day (Sun – 21 May) SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Breakfast. In the morning there will be a visit of the city including the Plaza del Obradoiro. Possibility to attend Mass in the Cathedral, considered one of the most important in the world. Free afternoon to walk around this illustrious city, or to visit the Rías Altas and the attractive city of A Coruña. Return to the hotel and accommodation
Day 11.º (Mon – 22 May) SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – COVADONGA – SANTANDER
Breakfast 1 and departure to the Principality of Asturias. You will ascend to Covadonga, where the Reconquest of Spain began. There is the Sanctuary and the famous grotto with the image of the Virgin. You will continue your trip to Santander, an attractive summer town, with its wonderful landscapes and white sand beaches. Panoramic tour and continuation to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 12 (Mar – 23 Mayo) SANTANDER – SAN SEBASTIAN – LOURDES
Breakfast and departure to San Sebastian, known as the “Pearl of the Cantabrian”. Panoramic tour and free time in this beautiful and aristocratic city. Continue to Lourdes, the main pilgrimage centre of the world. Visit the Basilica and Grotto of the Apparitions. In the evening, weather permitting, possibility to attend the famous Torch Procession. Dinner at the hotel. Accommodation.
13th day (Mon – 24 May) LOURDES
Breakfast and free day. You can swim in the famous pools of Lourdes or spend your time for religious activities. Accommodation.
14th day (Mar – 25 Mayo) LOURDES – ZARAGOZA – BARCELONA
Breakfast and departure to Zaragoza. Time to visit the Basilica of the Virgen del Pilar, Patroness of Hispanidad. Transfer to Barcelona by bus or train AVE economy class. Accommodation.
15th day (Mie – 26 May) BARCELONA
Breakfast and presentation in the terminal to start the panoramic visit, including, the Sagrada Familia with guide, Plaza de Catalunya, Gothic Quarter, Monument to Columbus, Olympic Port, etc. Lunch in restaurant of the Olympic Port. Free afternoon and accommodation.
Day 16.º (Thu – 27 May) BARCELONA – LIMA
Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
