 Day 01: Arrival to the City of Cusco

Arrival to the imperial city. Reception at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 02: Machu Picchu, Wonderful Inca City – (D, A)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Very early in the morning pick up from your hotel and transfer to Ollantaytambo station to board the train and then 2.30 hrs. you will arrive at the town of Aguas Calientes (village located at the foot of the mountain where Machu Picchu is located).

Reception by the local guide and walk to the station to board the bus that will take you after 20 min. Approximately towards the Wonderful Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu. Start of the guided tour around 2.30hrs. “Machu Picchu is one of the highest expressions of Inca architecture, Cultural and Natural Heritage of Humanity. Built in the middle of the tropical mountain forest, the city seems to have been sculpted in the cliffs of the rock. Besides offering a spectacular landscape, it shows an important endemic biological diversity of flora and fauna. The complex was built approximately in the 15th century by the Inca Pachacútec”.

Downhill bus to Aguas Calientes. Buffet lunch at the local restaurant.

Arrive at the train station 30 minutes before the train departure. Return to Cusco. Arrival, reception and transfer to your hotel.

Day 03: Colorful Mountain Tour – (D,A)

Early in the morning we pick you up from your hotel in the city of Cusco, then start the excursion to the southeast of Cusco passing through Cusipata (3339 masl.) to reach the hamlet of Llactoc, where we will appreciate herds of alpacas and llamas and a flora of the area, here we start our hike for about 2:30 hours, continuing, we appreciate far snowy mountains and wonderful landscapes, finally we reach the mountain of colors (Vinicunca), after a tour and photographic shots at the top, We begin the descent for 1 ‍ hours until we reach Llactoc, to take our transport unit and return to Cusipata where we will have a lunch (included), then we board our transport and return to Cusco, arriving at the city around 17:00 hours.  Transfer to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 04: Departure Cusco – (D)

Breakfast at the hotel.

On time transfer to the airport, flight to Lima and then return to your home country.

Recommendations to take to the hike Rainbow Mountain:

• 1 liter and a half of water (per person, at least!).
• Water resistant trekking shoes.
• Waterproof clothing (poncho).
• Sun hat and sunglasses.
